The assessment focused on identifying both tangible and intangible Aboriginal cultural heritage values across the project area and ensuring these were appropriately considered in project planning.

Converge undertook a targeted site survey and cultural heritage assessment to establish the presence, nature and significance of Aboriginal cultural heritage within the development footprint. Working alongside the Kabi Kabi People, we developed clear, practical management strategies to minimise harm and support Equis Energy in progressing the Woolooga BESS with respect for Country, cultural obligations and statutory requirements.
